Wealth Manager

Key responsibilities include:

  • Nurturing of long term client relationships, developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of clients’ investment objectives and risk tolerance to ensure that investment strategies and advice for clients are appropriately aligned
  • Managing of clients’ wealth holistically and ensuring their wealth management needs are attended to efficiently, professionally and in a timely manner
  • Keeping abreast of economic conditions, market updates and financial news as well as providing regular market and portfolio updates to clients
  • Conducting research on investment opportunities that are suitable for clients’ investment objectives and risk tolerance
  • Network to identify and attract potential Ultra-High Net worth clients as part of business development initiatives and achieving new business goals
  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of appropriate regulations affecting client interaction and ensuring compliance with all such regulations
  • Working closely with Trust Advisors, Tax Advisors and Banking Advisors to assist clients in the areas of succession planning, trust, tax planning and corporate services.
  • Assist clients with putting in a strong family governance code in place with the aim of establishing a sustainable family structure in relation to their family business.
  • Assist clients with crafting and implementing their philanthropic plans which includes clarifying their own charitable intent, identifying the appropriate vehicle for gifting and the naturally tight integration of philanthropy with investment and estate planning.
  • Serve as a technical, marketing and developmental expert and resource on matters of estate and financial planning, both for prospects and client relationships.
  • Conducting investment reviews for the clients’ various asset pool. (e.g. Market updates, portfolio and fund performance) and conducting meetings with the clients’ investment committees and boards.
  • Coaching and Developing the rising generations of families as part of their legacy planning.
  • Prepare or interpret information for clients such as investment performance reports, financial document summaries or income projections.

  • Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of wealth management experience
  • Ability to bring in Asset Under management of at least USD 50 million through referrals, own networks and the active prospecting of Ultra-High Net worth individuals 
  • A strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of private wealth clients
  • An ambitious, committed, entrepreneurial nature with the ability to work independently
  • Strong presentation and excellent communications and negotiation skills
  • A proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation performance
  • Proficiency in financial markets analysis and product evaluation
  • A detail-oriented and results-focused attitude
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory policies and guidelines
  • Credibility and trustworthiness while maintaining the highest standards of personal and professional integrity at all times
  • Working knowledge of the family-office structure, generalised framework for personal, partnership, corporate tax and estate regulations
  • Comprehensive understanding of diverse facets of financial planning, including investments, banking, estate and succession planning, philanthropy and credit solutions.
  • Exceptional understanding of wide investment vehicles, including equities, structured products, foreign exchange, derivatives, hedge funds and private equities.
