Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for working with the Head of Special Projects/Head of Products on leading and managing product teams and products that the Group creates/develops. From planning, execution, testing to launch of the product, this cycle repeats itself with every new version release. The scope also includes product management tasks like ensuring that the schedule is kept up to date, resources are available and assigned effectively and scope, contracts, vendors and documentation are kept updated.

Responsibilities

  • 100% understanding of the products involved in.
  • Translate business goals into product requirements and work with UX designer to merge with user needs.
  • Work with Tech Lead to translate product requirements into tech requirements.
  • Ensure that the production schedule sprints are updated and kept ahead of time.
  • Ensure that resources are allocated and assigned effectively.
  • Ensure that features are aligned team-wide.
  • Ensure that product documentation is maintained.
  • Design documents
  • Tech documents

  • Admin documents
  • Test documents
  • Lead and manage stand-ups, sprints and scrums.
  • Help the team to stay updated across all meetings with minutes
  • Ensure that all communication is clear and relayed to all team members on time.
  • Manage 3rd party vendors based on scope, contract and timeline.
  • Ensure that regular user testing, code testing/reviews and UAT testing are thoroughly and properly conducted.

  • Min of 2 years of experience in working in one of the following roles:
  • Product Designer
  • Product Developer
  • UX Researcher
  • Product Designer
  • Completed a diploma or a degree in one of the following disciplines:
  • Business Management
  • Relevant Technology Field
  • Product Management
  • Product Design
  • Human Centered Design / User Experience Design
  • Experienced in the following areas:
  • AGILE methodology
  • LEAN development methodology
  • Business models and strategy
  • Bonus if you:
  • Know user experience design
  • Up to date with the technologies globally
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail, able to work independently and take initiative
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Highly motivated self-starter
